| 2011 Event Results - Over 180 Riders "Best Ride Ever" - $6K for the Kids! |
Our ride has grown every year and this year we had over 180 riders! The VFW Men's Auxiliary served over 50
breakfasts. It was perfect riding weather all day. Mike tries to change it up a little each year and the riders said this
was the best year ever! We are so blessed to have the local landowners allow us to ride on their property. We had
a cold spring here, so there weren't many trees bloomed out, but we had a great time.
Thank you for bringing your items to be donated at the auction. We all had a great laugh as Mike McKinley called
out S-O-L-D..! The meat took a little longer to cook, so the side dishes went fast. Thank you everyone for bringing
in your special treats. We were on the edge of our seats as we watched the Barrel Racing. Although it hardly seems
possible to go faster, Clay Norris broke the arena record in barrels, and took home a nice chunk of change for the
effort! The bluegrass band "Lost Road Ramblers" played throughout the day and Jason Bennett wrapped up the
evening with karaoke from 7-11.

crowd of about 500 people attending
and we made over $6,700 for Special
Olympics. Thank you for all your
